“Femme-forward, bubblegum garage punk” is one way band leader and guitarist Isabel Tirado describes the signature sound of G.A.B.. Joined by Alycen Moussette (Vocals), Wilson Morris (Keys) and Vincent Durcan (Drums) the group has a vibrant and undeniable take on what it means to be a garage band. Blending together synths, distorted guitar, and cutting lyrics - the ladies of G.A.B. aim to bring women to the forefront of a genre that all-too-often pushes them away entirely - perhaps with a little attitude. Recently featured on major music festival bills including PDX Pop Now! and Dreamroll, G.A.B. has had a meteoric introduction to the PNW music scene over the summer of 2026 including a segment from the Portland Radio Project and an exclusive sneak-peak broadcast of the EP.
“This music is a documentary of real, honest experiences with things like dating, friendship, and homesickness through the lens of a femme living in the world today. There’s a cobblestone of both terrible and wonderful experiences contained in this project because for me, writing has been about expressing hard feelings and perhaps accepting bits within me that seem in disrepair.” states band leader, Isabel Tirado. “We just hope that people hear our music and recognize something in it that feels authentic to them”.
